If you notice a gas leak, immediately open windows and doors, call the Gas Leak Emergency Number, and evacuate outdoors.
If the lamp is not blinking and gas is unavailable, call the Gas Pipeline Helpline.

The shape of the reset button may vary slightly depending on the type of meter.
Some types of meters do not have a reset button cap. In this case, skip this step.
Fully push up the reset lever using a stick, etc. until it stops. Release the stick, etc. when the display lamp is lit.
If a string is attached to the reset lever, pull down the string until the reset lever stops.
The meter checks for a gas leak. Gas is usable when the lamp turns off. There are two types of meters. For one type, it takes three minutes until the lamp turns off. For the other type, it takes one minute.
