If gas continues to flow for 30 days or more due to the leakage of trace amounts of gas, etc., the system detects a potential gas leak and activates an alarm (lamp).
To ensure that the alarm function of the microcomputer meter operates normally, ENE-FARM units stop generating power every 27 days. However, if you use gas appliances while your ENE-FARM unit is not generating power, the alarm function of the microcomputer meter is activated (the lamp flashes). In this case, stop using gas appliances for 70 consecutive minutes or more on the day power generation stops.
To check the day power generation stops, follow the steps below.
If the lamp continues to flash even after stopping all gas appliances for 70 minutes or more, or if you smell gas,
call the gas leak hotline.
Operate the remote control in the kitchen.
If you follow the steps above, the screen displays “XX days later.” This is the day your ENE-FARM unit stops generating power.
* Example
Date on which the power generation stop schedule is checked: April 1 Display: 26 days later → The day power generation stops: April 27
If you continue to use gas for many hours while the icon remains on the remote control in the kitchen (the day power generation stops), an error is displayed, and the icon stays visible. The remote control displays “0 days later” until the error is cleared (until the unit confirms that gas has not been used for about 70 minutes or more). “26 days later” is displayed when the error is cleared.
If a gas appliance is in continuous operation, stop the gas appliance for 70 minutes or more. If the lamp continues to flash even after stopping the gas appliance, or if you smell gas, call the gas leak hotline.
