The delamination cutters do not require any specific skills to delaminate the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) lining of PVC-lined steel pipes.
During construction work using PVC-lined steel pipes, it is necessary to delaminate the PVC lining of connection parts. Previously, a flathead driver and a hammer were used to chip off the lining. However, there was a risk of damaging the pipe. The construction quality decreased due to differences in workers’ skills. Scattering of lining fragments raised safety concerns. It also took time to remove tiny fragments of lining that remained on the pipe surface.Against this backdrop, we developed delamination cutters, which do not require any specific skills to operate, attain stable construction quality, and can be used in a narrow space.
There are two types of delamination cutters. One is the pipe end delamination type, which is used for newly installed pipes, etc., and the other is the intermediate part delamination type, which is used for branch stubs, etc. from existing piping.
Pipe end delamination type: 25A`100A
Intermediate part delamination type: 25A, 32Ac
Target pipe type: PVC-lined steel pipes (adhesive type)
Usage environment temperature: −5°C to 50°C
