A digital manometer is mainly used for air tightness tests and leak inspections of low-pressure gas pipes. It measures gas pressure in gas pipes and displays and records changes in gas pressure.

The WM-1000, a new digital manometer, features a Bluetooth communication function.This has made it possible to link operation of the main unit and data storage with a mobile device.The printer function has been removed from the main unit to achieve reduction in size and weight. Instead, a mobile printer may be used.

Digitization of pressure measurement recording
The pressure measurement records are transmitted to a mobile device via Bluetooth to enable storage as electronic data.This has eliminated the need for printing on-site and achieved easy linkage with the in-house system.
Downsizing
Removal of the printer from the main unit has achieved downsizing of about 60% in terms of volume and about 30% by weight compared to the conventional product.
Improved traceability
The GPS location information and camera function of a mobile device are used to reflect the on-site information, such as date, time, and location, in the pressure measurement records. This improves the traceability of the air tightness test and leak inspection.
