Easy Locator SD for Exploration of Buried Pipes (PL-SD)

Overview

This locator integrates a transmitter and a receiver to achieve easy exploration of buried pipes. It enables anyone to explore buried pipes more easily without connecting a transmitter.

Background

At Osaka Gas Network, we must identify the location of our buried pipes when performing our own construction work or undertaking construction work for other companies.While referring to the drawing information, we also use a pipe locator to explore buried pipes in order to further increase the location accuracy.This requires connection of a transmitter to a gas pipe.The transmitter and receiver for induction exploration have been integrated.The locator searches for buried pipes only. It does not react to small metal objects, such as empty cans that are detected by metal detectors.
