Protective Potential Measurement and Analysis System

Overview

To achieve appropriate corrosion protection and maintenance of buried gas pipelines, to which cathodic protection is applied, we conduct periodic measurement and analysis of protective potential to confirm that pipelines are in an appropriate condition.

System configuration

We use a “protective potential measurement and analysis system,” which consists of a compact power-efficient “digital potential recorder” for measuring the potential of gas pipes and “dedicated analysis software.”
