In-pipe Camera Equipped with Water Removal Function for Branch Pipes

Overview

An in-pipe camera is used to identify the location of water that infiltrates gas pipes. A water suction function has been added to the camera. This system can be used for small-diameter branch pipes.

System configuration

The water suction camera has been downsized, and the operability of the unit to insert the camera into pipes has been improved. Thus, the system can also be used for small-diameter bent piping.

Features

Work performed without cutting the pipe

  • In-pipe observation and water suction operation can be performed without stopping the gas distribution. This reduces inconvenience to customers.

Passing through bent piping

  • Water that infiltrates gas pipes tends to accumulate at level differences in piping. Water suction operation can be performed efficiently.

Inexpensive

  • A low price has been achieved by using a commercially available camera.
